Amy

Treatment Coordinator

Amy brings over 25 years of dental experience to our team, beginning her career as a dental assistant in 1998. While dentistry has changed a lot through the years, her love for helping patients has never changed. She believes one of the best parts of dentistry is creating an environment where patients feel like family. Helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their treatment builds trust, eases anxiety, and makes a meaningful difference in their overall experience.

Amy and her husband, Claudio, have been married for 25 years. They have 2 grown children and recently became grandparents! Outside the office, Amy loves hosting family and friends, grilling in the backyard, dancing, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Every October, she also enjoys helping coordinate National Night Out with her neighbors and bringing their community together.

Leeanna

Treatment Coordinator

Leeanna joined our team as our treatment coordinator in 2023 and has been incredible! She excels at explaining treatment to patients and making sure we’re maximizing dental benefits and creating payment plans that work for everyone. She has 4 kids and 2 grandkids, so she keeps busy with family when she’s not at work. She love going to the beach, paddleboarding, horseback riding, and anything outdoorsy with her family. Her favorite part of being part of our team is being able to help patients feel welcome and comfortable here.

Jade

Dental Hygienist

Jade is a compassionate and experienced dental hygienist with 8 years of experience. She excels in working with patients who have dental anxiety, providing gentle and thorough care. In addition to her work in dental offices, she also provides dental care in assisted living homes for individuals with dementia. Originally from Texas, Jade is a dedicated professional who truly loves dogs and clean teeth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, 16-year-old son, 17-year-old stepdaughter, and her rescue dog. Jade’s passion for her work shines through in her dedication to providing top-notch care to all her patients.

Brenda

Dental Hygienist

Brenda joined our team in 2022 as our full time hygienist and our patients love her! She graduated from Howard College and has been a hygienist for over 20 years, so she brings a lot of experience with her. She enjoys creating personalized treatment plans to treat gum disease and help patients become healthy. She has been married for 10 years and has 2 beautiful daughters. When she’s not at work she’s crafting (she has made us all cute t-shirts!) and rooting for the Aggies. She loves going to Aggie football games and is part of the Aggie Moms.

Candis

Insurance and Hygiene Coordinator

Candis is a warm and delightful member of our team. She has more than 25 years of experience in the field and is committed to providing great customer service to our patients. She likes interacting with patients and being able to establish genuine relationships with them. She has been happily married to her husband, Dan, for over 30 years and has 2 children. In her spare time, Candis enjoys cooking and baking new recipes. Birthdays are always delicious around the office!

Maria

Registered Dental Assistant

Maria has been an assistant for 24 years, with over 10 of those being with Dr. Elam! She is invaluable to our team and helps keep Dr. E in line (and on time). She is Dr. E’s right hand and enjoys making patients feel comfortable and relaxed so they no longer fear coming to the dentist. She was born in Mexico, but raised in California, and loves going to both places to visit. She and her husband have 3 amazing sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and too many pets to count! Maria’s family loves to be outdoors and camp when it’s not too hot.
