Meet Dr. Maegan Elam
Dr. Maegan Elam was born and raised in Southlake, Texas and has served Bedford and the surrounding areas for over 10 years. She graduated dental school from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she was actively involved in student organizations and received an award in Clinical Excellence. After graduation she and her husband moved back to the DFW area. In 2018 she became the owner and solo practioner of our dental office, having spent the previous 5 years here as an associate. She has a heart for anxious patients and excels in making patients feel welcome and at ease.
She and her husband, Jordan, have been married for over 17 years and have 2 children. They are active in their church and involved with many activities at the school where Jordan teaches and the kids attend. You can usually find them at soccer games or gymnastics cheering their kiddos on. They love to travel and usually have one trip to look forward to at any given time!
As an established dental practitioner, Dr. Elam has garnered the respect and admiration of her staff and patients over the years. She participates regularly as a member of the Seattle Study Club, American Dental Association, the State of Texas Dental Association, and the Fort Worth District Dental Society. Dr. Elam is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has a comfortable and stress-free dental experience. She has completed advanced training to offer nitrous oxide sedation for patient relaxation and is also a Nobel preferred provider for All-On-Four dental implants, providing high-quality solutions for full-arch restorations.
Dr. Elam’s motto is “quality care because we care.” Our team wants our patients to know we care about them as people, not just a mouth or set of teeth. Dr. Elam tries to be as conservative as possible while providing excellent care and believes oral care is imperative to overall health, so she puts an emphasis on regular recall appointments to assess her patient’s condition. Dr. Elam enjoys creating relationships with patients to make them more comfortable. You can find her amazing team in the office joking around and getting to know each patient. Dr. Elams loves when a patient comes in having a dental phobia and the team makes them comfortable to where they say they’ve had a great experience.
